The Keynote Speakers were Dr. Jaspal Singh, Former Vice Chancellor, Punjabi University, Patiala and Dr. Balwant Singh Dhillon, Former Director, Centre for studies on Sri Guru Granth Sahib, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.

Dr. Jaspal Singh Ji gave very insightful talk about the various aspects of life of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. He pointed out that Guru Ji composed 'Bani' in the language of common people for their understanding. He further added that Guru Ji preached detachment and fearlessness. There is no doubt that the world can change today if only people follow his teachings. He also talked about his great sacrifice that has no parallel in this world which defined democracy long ago.

Dr. Balwant Singh Dhillon, in his stimulating speech, threw a light not only on a historical overview of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji's Journey but also the origin and spread of Sikhism. He rightly pointed out that it was indeed a very challenging time, when Guru Ji ascended Guru Gaddi. It was because of his far – sightedness , his fairness and his networking that he did so many  works that benefitted society , re-organized the Sikh Panth, established connection with the Sikhs outside Punjab without compromising the values of Guru Nanak Dev Ji .

Dr. Jatinder Kaur, Principal of Guru Gobind Singh College for Women extended warm welcome to all dignitaries and thanked Sardar Gurdev Singh Brar (IAS Retd.), President and Col. (Retd.) Sardar Jasmer Singh Bala, Secretary of Sikh Educational Society, Chandigarh profusely for being very supportive for the Webinar. She also thanked the eminent Keynote Speakers.
