Emergency Dental Services Resume at Desh Bhagat Dental College and Hospital

Chandigarh June 09, 2020-Desh Bhagat Dental college and hospital, a constituent college of Desh Bhagat University, has resumed emergency dental services with all precautionary measures as per the guidelines issued by Dental Council of India .The services include acute dental pain, severe infections, injuries and trauma, orthodontics and root canal treatments. The staff of the hospital and patients is being fully screened before the treatment.

Regular disinfection, sterilization, especially in reception areas, consultation rooms, operation rooms is being conducted and documented.

Chancellor, Dr. Zora Singh said, we are prepared to care for the community, during this COVID-19 pandemic. Our infection prevention experts are in close contact with the state and regional, administration, enabling them to share the latest information with patients, staff, and visitors.

Pro Chancellor, Dr, Tejinder Kaur said, we are seeing only one patient inside the consultation and treatment room at a time and we are sanitizing and disinfecting every surface. The health and safety of the staff and patients is of foremost importance to us.
