Chandigarh 19th June:- Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights (CCPCR) in collaboration with Chandigarh Lalit Kala Academy, Chandigarh organized Clay Modelling workshop on the Concluding day of Art & Design Workshop for the children of Snehalaya, Maloya, Chandigarh.
On the concluding ceremony, Bheem Malhotra, President, Chandigarh Lalit Kala Academy, Chandigarh was the chief guest. Senior Artist of Tricity, Gurmeet Goldie and Kamal was also present.
Sanjeet Kumar and Ms. Jyoti, Young Sculptors of Tricity were the resource persons for the event. They gave a demonstration on clay modeling to the children and Children created beautiful figures, models, landscapes and objects.
While appreciating the works Bheem Malhotra, President, Chandigarh Lalit Kala Academy, Chandigarh said he has never seen such beautiful creation at the first-time attempt. Looking at the talent of the children, he offered them to introduce and give opportunity at major workshops so that they get exposure and can excel in their skills. Thirty (30) Children of Snehalaya participated in the workshop.
Children also entertained the artist team with their singing and drama skills.
