Chandigarh 21st May:- Aiming to weed out terrorism and violence across the state, Chief Director-cum-ADGP Vigilance Bureau, B.K.Uppal today administered pledge to all Vigilance Bureau (VB) officials here at VB Headquarters, S.A.S.Nagar where all employees vowed to fight unanimously against those who disturb peace and social harmony of our country.
While addressing the gathering, Vigilance chief Uppal said that we took pledge to maintain the unity and integrity of our country and to end all forms of terrorism and violence. He added that we will not let divisive forces to disrupt the social fabric of the country.
He further informed that 'Anti-Terrorism Day' is being observed on the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi to spread the message of peace, humanity and to promote unity among the people.
