BML Munjal University offers Specialized Course for BBA, B. Com

Chandigarh 18th May:- BML Munjal University (BMU), the Hero Group's not-for-profit university, today announced its specialized management course 'KCAP – KPMG Course for Accounting Professionals' for its BBA and B. Com(H) students. KCAP aims to equip the students with basics of accounting, Indian accounting standards, practical aspects of accounting and industry specific practices.

Addressing a press conference at a hotel here today, Dr. Vishal Talwar, Dean, School of Management, BML Munjal University said that KCAP opens up a wide range of interesting and rewarding career opportunities in accountancy and business for BMU students. Companies these days are looking to get more from their finance and accounting support. He added that he feels KCAP is designed to make students industry efficient. It is a big value adds to their resumes during the time of placement. At BMU we support students by participating in live projects and through class-room interaction with industry leaders.

He said further that it's a mandatory 200 hours extra course for students pursuing B. Com(H) while it's an optional course for students pursuing BBA. The course is well designed with extremely efficient CAs and senior consultants of KPMG coming together to teach BMU students. These experts deliver professional modules that enhance the hiring prospects of students in industry. The course is meant for students with good analytical skills, a flair for analyzing figures and who aspire for intellectually stimulating and challenging professional work.
