Thai Art Wins Hearts at CII Thailand Fair:Exquisite Wood Carved Painting Sells for Rs 2 Lakh

Chandigarh 02nd April:- Art pieces from Thailand are winning hearts at Thailand Fair being organised by Confederation of Indian Industry Northern Region at Himachal Bhawan. Art lovers from Tricity have wonderful options to choose from when it comes to art. From paintings on silk for Rs 300 to exquisite wood carved paintings for Rs 2 lakh. Yes, one such connoisseur of art from Rajasthan bought wood carving in shape of four by three feet for Rs 2 lakh at the fair. 

From an album of photos of this wood carved paintings, one can chose what they fancy and order the piece. The pieces take up to three months to make and will be shipped from Thailand straight to the buyer. The theme of these traditonal wood carvings gives a glimpse of ancient Thai culture which has roots in India. From Lord Budha to Lord Krishna and Radha, these pieces speak volumes for the great artisans who make them tirelessly over months with their own hands. 

Art pieces made of wood depicting Lord Ganesha and Budha in different forms is also a hit at Thailand Fair. Wood in beautiful natural shapes forms the base of these art pieces. These wooden art pieces are painted to make them look like brass but are light pieces made of wood.
