Chandigarh 15th April:- It's an everybody's dream to have wings and fly high like a bird. Such universal wish Was realized for the cadets of NCC air wing unit of the continental group of institutes (CGI). 28 cadets had as Co-Pilots had wings when they flew ZENAIR STL 701 Aircraft.
Dr. MS Grewal, the Executive Director of the group congratulated the cadets on their experience as pilots. Grewal, himself with 20 years of experience in the Indian Air Force kindled the inner fire of the cadets and asked them to aim high and fly with the prestigious Indian Air Force.
The enthusiastic students tarried out, lined-up on the runway and followed the control when the Captain took off. In a 15 minute flight per cadet, the 'fresh hands' were graced when they were allowed to handle the controls under the supervision of the captain. The students condensed their experience as 'Surreal' and 'an opportunity of a life-time'. The practical of actually flying a plane lift them completely thrilled.
The fulfilled cadets thanked their NCC Commandant, Wg. Cdr. Rajneesh Rothan and Prof. kamaljit Singh for their first hand opportunity hence inaugurating their careers.
