Chandigarh 19th March:- Suresh Arora (IPS), Director General of Police, Punjab and Anil Kishora, Chief General Manager, State Bank of India, Chandigarh Circle flagged off the Mobile Eye Care Vehicle, donated by State Bank of India to National Association For The Blind, Chandigarh. The vehicle will be used by the society for blind children across Tricity.
On the occasion, Suresh Arora stated that State Bank of India, being the largest Bank of the nation, always stay ahead in community service and provide full cooperation and assistance to uplift weaker and needy sections of the society.
After the donation, Anil Kishora mentioned that the National Association For The Blind, Chandigarh is a very hard working society that takes utmost care of its inmates and ensures full support for their better lives.
While interacting with media Anil Kishora shared that SBI has donated almost 2800 wheel chair and stretcher to the different NGO's and Hospitals during the current financial year. He also mentioned that SBI under the CSR has built Toilet Blocks in Ropar and other Punjab areas. He said that SBI is always ready to fulfil his Social Responsibilities towards nation development.
