Dr. D. S Cheema Will Inaugurate First Flip Learning School in Zirakpur

Chandigarh 04^th March:- Manav Mangal Group of Schools will be completing its 48 years on 5^th March, 2016 and on this day a new school Manav Mangal Smart World of this group in Zirakpur will be inaugurated by Education Minister of Punjab Dr. D. S Cheema. This school is Region's First Tech Smart Green School and Region's first flip learning school. 

While addressing Media in Chandigarh today, Sanjay Sardana, Director of Manav Mangal Group of Schools said that  Manav Mangal Smart World is a Fully air conditioned school designed with Godrej and Boyce as consultants and is an eco friendly building built under the norms of IGBC (Indian Green Buildings Council), and the school has received a provisional Gold Certification from them. The school has many other valuable facilities like State of the Art Auditorium, Indoor Sports Complex, Comprehensive Health Care Programme, Kids Fantasy World, Garden Gym, Skating Rink of international standards, Swimming Pool Digital Labs & Digital Library, 3D Learning Lab etc.

While giving details about First Flip Learning School of the region, he said that till now the Smart content was a tool given to the teacher to enhance learning. Under this Flip Learning program , the online content will now be available at the click of the mouse at home for the students to view and thus giving them the freedom to learn as per their convenience .He further added that this will allow Classroom time to be utilised for practical and collaborative ways. He said that for the first time in the region, students will have a comprehensive online learning platform that is safe and improves their productivity. A flipped classroom is about ensuring the 'voice' more often heard in the classroom is that of a student and not of the teacher. Not only has that it made parents an active partner in their child's education.

Sanjay Sardana also presented a brief journey of Manav Mangal Group of Schools. He said that Manav Mangal Group was founded in year 1968 by the revered educationist G. S Sardana. The school which was started in a residential building with just 40 student's today nurtures over 8000 children in its three branches namely Chandigarh,  Panchkula  and Mohali. He further stated that Region's First Tech Smart School Manav Mangal Smart School was started in Mohali in the year 2007 which took education to level next. In the largest ever ranking 2015 conducted for Co-educational Day School this school has been recently placed 1^st in Mohali, amongst top 10 in Punjab and amongst top 100 in India.
