CITCO Employees Hold Protest Rally and Demonstration Against Suspension Orders

Chandigarh 10th March:- On the call given by CITCO progressive workers union Chandigarh. The employees of CITCO held protest rally and demonstration on today i.e. dated 10th March, 2016 before the CITCO Head Office, Sector 17, Chandigarh. The protest rally and demonstration was held against the suspension orders of the CITCO employees issued with a malafide and subjective motive. Large numbers of employees working in various places under CITCO participated in the protest. Beside hundreds of workers of CITCO the leadership of federation & coordination committee along with representatives of its affiliates participated in this massive protest rally.

While addressing the protest rally the speakers strongly  criticized the anti employee and adamant attitude of CITCO management towards the genuine grievances of the employees and blamed that instead of resolving genuine problem of the employees, the officers are involve in corrupt practices and trying to malign the image of this prestigious industry for their vasted interest and said that the suspension order have been issued to sight track their own incompetency and to  cover their levish way highlighted in the news papers. The CITCO MD instead of taking stern action against the wrongdoers starting to make victim of lower employees & issued the suspension order blaming to use left out food for creating the atmosphere of terror which is unjustified and unacceptable and demanded immediate revocation of suspension orders failing which all the trade unions will directly join the agitation and a joint massive rally will again held before the CITCO Head Quarters which will further in to converter in to direct action of agitation. M.D. CITCO today called the Union President & General Secretary and assured them for revocation of suspension order in view of the insurance next call of joint agitation will be announced after 2 days.
