BJP Govt. Must Allow Agitating JBT Teachers to Join Service: Kiran Choudhry

By 121 News

Chandigarh 05th January:-Kiran Choudhry, Leader of the Haryana Congress Legislature Party (CLP), has flayed the BJP Government, led by the Chief Minister, Manohar Lal Khattar, for not issuing appointment  letters to the selected JBT teachers who have been staging a sit-in for the last one month, and demanded that they be allowed to join forthwith.

In a statement issued here today, the former Excise and Taxation Minister said that the BJP Government had failed to fulfill even a single promise made to the public in the run-up to the elections. It had promised to appoint all the selected 9,455 JBT teachers but 17 months are over but the teachers are still awaiting appointment letters. Kiran Choudhry stated that the Chief Minister on 29 March, 2015 promised to give joining letters to the teachers within 77 days but nothing has happened till now. She added that the failure of the BJP government to keep any of its commitments made to different sections of employees has made them hit the streets.
