Crime Branch Arrest Proclaimed Offender Wanted in criminal Cases of Chandigarh and Haryana

Chandigarh 04^th November:- The Crime Branch of Chandigarh Police achieved a major achievement when its managed to arrest accused Joginder Singh, District Jind, Haryana, who is a Proclaimed Offender in number of criminal cases of Chandigarh and Haryana.

On 03.11.2015, on a tip-off, the team of Crime Branch laid a naka at roundabout Sectors 24/25/37/38, Chandigarh and apprehended above said accused while he was coming from the side of Sector-25, Chandigarh. He was arrested in case FIR No. 106 dated 06.04.2006 u/s 365,382,384,323,506,120-B IPC, PS-39, Chandigarh in which he was declared as proclaimed offender by the trial court.

During further interrogation, it is established that he was involved in a number of heinous crime cases of Panchkula and Chandigarh and also declared proclaimed offended and is wanted in the Case FIR No. 100/2010 u/s 382, 323, 506, 34 IPC, PS-34, Chandigarh, Case FIR No. 357 dated 03.11.2007 u/s 147,148,149,323,506 IPC, PS-11, Chandigarh and Case FIR No. 227 dated 15.10.2012 u/s 406, 420, 467, 468, 471, 212, 201 & 120-B IPC, PS-Chandi Mandir, Panchkula, Haryana.
