Chandigarh 17th October:- The Indian Dental Association, Chandigarh State Branch will organize an oral health programme at Gur-asra, Mohali which is a home for hundred orphan girls. The programme will comprise of an oral health talk and demonstration, a dental check up and distribution of oral health Kits to the children.
Prof Ashok Utreja, President of the branch said that dental care is one of the biggest unmet health care need and a timely education and motivation on developing and maintenance of correct oral health practices can go a long way in its prevention.
Dr. Aditi kapur, General Secretary of the branch further pointed out that effective oral health care would require more such collaborations between health care providers, primary care givers and educational professionals, and IDA, Chandigarh Branch remains committed to achieve that in the Tricity.
