The idea behind such an event is to promote road etiquette, safety, disciplined driving and fundraising for FODA (Festival of differently abled) held at Bishop Cotton School every year. This is an adventure for the whole family.

G.P.S. Buwal said that during the Shivalik hill drive participants has to cover almost 160 KM. in 5.30 Hrs. The maximum speed has been fixed upto 35 KM/Hr. The OCA (India) Northern Chapter has catered to every need of the adventurers. Water, food, doctors and an ambulance will be in attendance. Safety is also a prime concern.

He further added that the Event will follow the Time, Speed and Distance (TSD) format of drive. Motor Sport, by and large, is not always about speed. The TSD format is very popular and can be extremely competitive. The objective of The TSD Event is to be at the correct distance at the 'Ideal Time'. This is not always possible and the difference between the 'Ideal Time' and 'Actual Time' is converted into penalty points. To be a winner your penalty points should be the lowest. TSD Events are run on public roads, in normal cars, at speeds that are within the legal limit. Some of the roads may be dirt or gravel but are chosen that at no times they are unsafe. A TSD Event is NOT a race.
