Chandigarh 21st September:- The second Smart City Consultation Camp was held today in community centre of sector 42, Chandigarh. Kashish Mittal, SDM (South)-cum-ADC along with Nodal Officer for Chandigarh Smart City Mission-cum-SDM (East) Danish Ashraf, and area councillor were present during the camp.
Kashish Mittal, IAS, initiated the camp and heard the suggestions for smart city and grievances for Municipal Corporation. The residents of the ward submitted the problems related to their ward & areas and also submitted the proposal & solution to the common problems being faced in the area.
Residents suggested that to make Chandigarh a Smart City maintenance of the Railway Station should be properly done, Traffic safety to be made accurate, Playgrounds should be made with nominal fees for the citizens of the city, Proper policing, Electronic meters should be initiated in all the houses of the city and maintenance of unattended government land to be done.
