Chandigarh 14th September:- Dr Shefali Khanna Sharma Assistant Professor, Department of Internal Medicine, PGI has been awarded Best Paper Award by Asia Pacific League of Associations for Rheumatology (APLAR) for her work "Efficacy of Sulfsalazine in Ankylosing Spondylitis (AXIAL DISEASE), Randomised, Placebo Controlled Study." She was honored by APLAR President Kevin Pile during the17thAPLAR Congress, held in Chennai, India, along with a cash Prize of USD 1000.
Dr Shefali has also been awarded membership of the prestigious society "National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS), which is an honor bestowed as an acknowledgement of her achievements in the field of rheumatology.
