He added that an outstanding value for money package, the new Figo is cleverly built to appeal to the Indian consumers who don't want to compromise on looks, practicality, safety, cutting-edge technology and above all, exceptional fuel efficiency. Built on the sporty and sophisticated personality of the original, the new Ford Figo raises the bar in the country's fast-growing compact car segment with its clever value-for-money proposition and host of segment best and first features.
Vinay Raina said that the all-new Figo is designed from ground up with safety as one of its key differentiators. It features Ford's renowned robust passenger cage created from high-strength steel to protect occupants in the event of an unfortunate collision. The model is equipped with driver airbag as standard across the entire range. From second variant onwards, the new Figo will offer standard dual front airbags across the entire line up. The all-new Figo is the only car in its segment to offer up to six airbags – including side and curtain airbags -- for all round protection. The all-new Figo ensures that help is never far in an unfortunate event of a serious collision. It offers Ford's well-known Emergency Assistance feature that uses SYNC and a Bluetooth-paired phone to call emergency responders automatically and provide information about your vehicle and location.
Consumers looking for even greater technological integration can choose a Figo equipped with SYNC with Ford AppLink, Ford's advanced in-car connectivity system. SYNC with Ford AppLink allows drivers to control their phone, entertainment and apps hands-free using simple voice commands.
