Chandigarh 16th September:- Chandigarh Housing Board hereby informed the General Public that under the existing GPA transfer policy of Chandigarh Housing Board, the transfer of dwelling units are allowed only in favour of GPA/SPA holders or Sub GPA/Sub SPA holders. During the process it has come to notice that there are some cases where the Sub GPA holder has further sold the property to another person. In order to regularize these transfer cases, the Chandigarh Housing Board shall transfer the dwelling units in favour of the subsequent purchasers who have purchased the property under the 'GPA transaction'. However, for every such transfer, an applicant will pay 10% additional transfer fee.
