Chandigarh 21st August:- Adviser to Administrator, Vijay Dev , today inaugurated 15th e-sampark Centre in Bapu Dham Colony, Sector -26. The e-sampark Centre which would offer all public services to the denizen of Bapu Dham colony at their doorstep which are being offered in other e-sampark centres across city. This e-sampark Centre will be having two counters and will be equipped to offer all 45 G2C & 4 B2C services and launch of this centre in Bapu Dham Colonly will obviates the need to visit any other e-sampark centre of the city to avail the services.
On the occasion Vijay Dev, Adviser said that e-sampark centres are face of our government and life line of general public and we are committed to make e-sampark centre's more citizens friendly and one stop shop for all public services. He further said that standard of public service will only rise once government will be able to provide all its citizen centric services at the doorstep of citizens of all strata of society with easy access to them and for that all departments have been directed to offer all their services at e-sampark portal and as well at all sampark centre's.
Deepak Kumar, Deputy Commissioner –cum-Secretary Information Technology said that more such e-sampark centre's & e-kiosks will be opened and which will be equipped to offer each and every public services being offered by all departments and the only point of interaction between citizens and government would be sampark centres.
Director Information Technology, Prince Dhawan said that to improve public service delivery for the benefit of the resident is our priority. Our effort is to enable residents with an easy way to access to all government information and service, while downplaying the structure of government.
