Chandigarh 15th March:- Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal has expressed grief over the demise of former Deputy Chief Minister of Haryana Chandram who breathed his last at Rohtak today. In a condolence message issued here today, Manohar Lal described Chandram as seasoned politician who always worked for the upliftment of weak and downtrodden. He remained Deputy Chief Minister of the State in 1966-67. He got elected MP in sixth Lok Sabha and remained Union Minister of State from 1977 to 1979. He also remained MLA in joint Punjab and in Haryana.
The Chief Minister also conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the members of bereaved family and prayed to the Almighty that the departed soul might rest in peace.
