PGI To Celebrate World Oral Health Day

Chandigarh 18th March:- Indian Dental Association, Chandigarh State Branch, in collaboration with the Oral Health Sciences Centre PGI and other Dental colleges of the Tri-City, is organizing a "Walkathon" at the Sukhna Lake, Chandigarh, On the occasion of the ''World Oral Health Day' on March 20th, 2015. The theme for this year is "Smile for Life" and the aim of this activity is to spread a greater awareness about the benefits of a healthy mouth and to promote the importance of oral Hygiene to everyone - Old & Young. Health secretary UT, Anurag Aggarwal, IAS will flag off the Walk. It would be attended by nearly 100 members of the IDA, students and faculty of the Oral Health Sciences Centre & HS Judge Dental College and the general public. Prof. Ashok Utreja, President of the IDA, Chandigarh State Branch would deliver a small talk on the importance of the World Oral Health Day to the participants.
