Mohali 04th February:- St. Paul's International School, Mohali organized the annual eye and dental check-up for their students under the guidance of Dr. Amarjit Singh, consultant eye surgeon and Dr. Upinder Bhandari dental Surgeon from Sirhind. Around 223 students participated in the health camp. Few healthy tips were given by the surgeons to maintain healthy teeth and eyes. The children were highly motivated. The surgeons instructed the students to avoid junk foods and adulterated drinks to have shining white teeth. For healthy eyes, the surgeon advised the students to wash eyes with fresh water twice a day and limit the use of excess exposure to video games or television. They also recommended free consultation for the school students.
Dr. Amandeep Kaur, the Principal of the school and Dr Harmandeep Kaur, the school doctor also encouraged the students about the importance of being healthy which affects the mental and physical growth of the children. She emphasized and motivated the students to follow 'Being Healthy' approach.
