Mohali 05th February:- The Punjab government has notified District Consumer Protection Council for district Mohali.
Disclosing this here today an official spokesman of the government said that the notified Council would have the deputy commissioner as the Chairman with district Food and Civil Supplies Controller as the Member Secretary. He further said that other official members of the Council would be the Senior Superintendent Police, District Education Officer (Secondary), SE Punjab State Electricity Board, Chief Medical Officer, District Coordinator, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., Lead Bank Officer, In charge of District, Senior Divisional Manager LIC, District Transport Officer, Executive Officer Municipal Committee/corporation at District Headquarter and Assistant Excise and Taxation Commissioner.
The Council would also have P.S.Virdi President Consumer Protection Council Mohali, A.N.Sharma, Advisor, S.S.Sohi, Rattan Singh Diwan, Advocate, Albel Singh Siyan, Harbinder Singh, Mandeep Singh Puclicity Secretary Consumer Protection and Awareness Council, Gurdeep Singh, Savinder Singh Khokhar, Harjit Singh Dali, Baljeet Singh, Nirwair Singh Jolan Kalan Executive Member SGPC Amritsar, Chaudhary Mam Singh, social worker, Dharamvir Sharma, Chairman National Consumer Forum, Sandeep Gupta, Sarvjit Singh, Dharamjit Singh, Gurwinder Singh, President Shaheed Udham Singh Memorial and Consumer Awareness Club Mohali, Azad Singh Secretary Shaheed Udham Singh Memorial and Consumer Awareness Club Mohali, Kuldeep Singh and Karamjit Singh as the unofficial members.
