Chandigarh 10th October:- Having given Umeed to scores of mothers across the country with the immensely successful first season of DID Super Moms – a hope that there is more to life than the daily drudgery of household responsibilities and that they're free to pursue their own dreams and hidden talents, ZEE TV is back with the second season of DID Super Moms. The first season that premiered last year, called out to all the moms who had the passion for dance but did not have the privilege of a platform on national television to showcase their talent at a younger age. The winner of season 1 Mithu Chowdhury, was a definitive example of this. Even though she had learnt Bharatnatyam for over five years, her first performance on stage on the sets of DID Super Moms season 1 auditions. Overcoming her inhibitions, with every round she went from strength to strength, eventually winning the show. Back with a bang, DID Super Moms Season 2 calls out to every family to urge their 'Super Mom' into pursuing her latent talents … she is the wind beneath your wings all year through … helping you tide over troubles, big or small. She is the glue that binds your family together. She sets aside her priorities, making yours her own. So, if the mom in your house was ever bitten by the dancing bug only to lose touch with it for you, now is the time to be the wind beneath her wings and let her soar. After all, it takes a Super Family to make a Super Mom!
In Chandigarh today to urge the mothers of the city to audition, Mithu said, that despite learning a classical dance form, I had never performed on stage. My husband encouraged me to audition for DID Super Moms last year for its first season and it was only because of him that I gave it a shot. The rest is history. I saw myself not just grow as a dancer during the course of the show but also change into a more confident and outgoing person. The love and adulation I got on the show and post that from the audiences was overwhelming. I want all the mothers like me in the city, to make time for the auditions, not be shy, put on their dance attire and throng the venue for the auditions. It is an opportunity for all mothers now to shine and show the world that we really are the super moms.
