Chandigarh 01st October:- The Department of Transfusion Medicine, PGIMER, Chandigarh conducted a voluntary blood donation camp at the Community Centre of Sector 21, Chandigarh in association with NGO Ashreya. On this occasion, a total of 155 blood units were collected. Blood donors were awarded appreciation certificates and felicitated with specially designed badges, pens with printed acknowledgement of "Thank you for being a blood donor" and were awarded. Voluntary blood donors who donated blood at the blood donation centre, PGI included Jagdish Chander (71 donations), Dr. Dharamvir Yadav (63 donations), Sanjay Batra (58 donations), Anandpreet Singh (48 donations), Paramjit Singh (42 donations), Sukhdarshan Singh Grang (42 donations), Jagtar Singh (41 donations), Manpreet Singh (37 donations), Dhanwantari Kumar (29 donations), Satinder Singh (24 donations), Mrs. Sneh Nagpal (23 donations), Ravish Bansal (17 donations), Hemant Kumar, Rajesh Wig and Vijay Kumar (16 donations each), Ms. Aditi Nagpal (15 donations), Dr. Gopal S. (13 donations), Surinder Sharma, Sushant Nagpal and Kishore Kumar Panthi (11 donations each), Mohit Dhuria and Vimal Ahuja (9 donations each), Vivek Attri, Kuljeet Singh and Amar Singh (7 donations each).
