CRB School celebrates Durga Puja and Dussehra

Chandigarh 01st October:- Tiny Tots of CRB Public School Chandigarh today celebrated Durga Puja and Dussehra Celebration with great enthusiasm and reverence. The whole school was decked up with flowers and buntings & colorful lights. The School was abuzz with the Navratra celebrations and the Director of the School, Sh. Naveen Kumar Mittal offered homage to Goddess Durga. Principal Smt. Sangeeta Mittal highlighted the importance of the festival and the need to inculcate a feeling of respect for women.The celebration began with Explaining the significance Celebrating Ram Leela and Dussehra. Later, revelers dressed in vibrant attires of Lord Rama, Sita, Lakshman, Ravana, Hanuman, etc enacted various scenes from the Ramleela depicting the victory of good over evil and culminated with his defeat of the demon Ravan . The effigy of Ravana also burnt on this occasion. In one of the dance performances, the replica of Goddess, Durga killing the demon 'Mahishasura' left everyone spell bound. All the children applauded the performance.

While speaking at the moment Principal, CRB School, Sangeeta Mittal Said that  Ramleela and  Dussehra is a dramatic re-enactment of the life of Lord Rama  which inspires us to follow the path of truth and motivates us to live with love ,affection and discipline. She further urged the students to make rules and regulation to be successful in life. The main motive of organizing this event was to impart knowledge to the students about rich heritage, Moral values of India.
