Families of Punjabi's Stuck in Iraq Appeales To Provide Information

Mohali 19th June:-- The Punjab Govt. has appealed the relatives & families of those Punjabi's, who have been stuck in civil war at Iraq, to provide detailed information about their relatives so that the Govt. of Punjab through Center Govt. could approach them & could take necessary steps towards their safety & security.       

According to an official spokesman, Govt. of Punjab has established a 24x7 control room at Chandigarh, where the relatives of those Punjabi's could give the detailed information including their names, telephone number in Iraq, name of firm / company in which he was working. In this context, the information could be provided at telephone numbers 0172-2740397 & 0172-2740035. Besides these information could also be provided on fax number 0172-2740936`. He said that Govt. of Punjab is taking track with center Govt. and will provide information to the family members as available as sooner. He also said that the relatives should also provide their telephone numbers.
