Dell will Not Close its Operations at Mohali: No Employee Will Be Fired Out of The Company:Prabhat Jain.

Mohali 06th June:-- Dell International India Private Limited will not close its operations at Mohali & no employee will be fired out of the company, rather more business will be provided to Dell centers. This was stated by Parbhat Jain Senior Manager Dell, during a meeting with Chief Parliamentary Secretary Industry & Forest N. K. Sharma, as he was directed by CM & Dy CM Punjab for a special discussion with the management of Dell Company. It is worth mentioning that recently it was in the rumors that the Dell Company is closing its operations in Mohali.

During discussion with the CPS, the management of the Company appreciated the Punjab Govt. for providing uninterrupted Power Supply & other basic infrastructure & facilities. They said that Punjab Govt. is helping the company at every step wherever possible. They said that Dell Company is running its three business operations namely India Technical Support, Global Support & Chatter, wherein approximate 800 employees are providing their services. Besides these, Dell Company has its centres at Haidrabad, Gurgaon & Banglore. Company is eager to improve it working style and also trying for business exchange within their centres, so that they could serve the customers in a better way.

 During meeting, N.K. Sharma persuaded the Company Managers that Dell Company will not face any problem for its operations. He asked the company officials to plan expansion of the company so that employment opportunities to young generation could be provided. N.K. Sharma offered concessional land at IT Park to company for its expansion. He said that Punjab is the first state in the country which is providing more concessions to the industrialist as per new trade policy, for establishing new industries in the state and now after the formation of NDA Govt. in the country a new industrial revolution is going to happen.  He said that IT Park spanning in 800 acres is being established at Mohali, where renowned IT firms are setting up their centers & very soon Mohali will be known as IT hub. He said that International Airport being constructed at Mohali will be made operational very soon, which will be a new turn in the age of development of this area. He said that to facilitate the employees working in Mohali region, separate hostels for male & female employees will be constructed. He said that very soon Punjab will be a Power surplus state & will be the first state to provide uninterrupted Power Supply to the industries.
