Time Bound Scheduled Work Is Concillers Priority: Officers Ensures Public participation For the Beautification of City: Mayor

Chandigarh 06^th January: ---- H.C. Kalyan, Mayor, Chandigarh today extended his warm welcome to all the officers of the corporation in a first interaction meeting organized here today. Smt. Heera Negi, Senior Deputy Mayor, Devesh Moudgil, Deputy Mayor were also present during the meeting. Sunil Bhatia, Additional Commissioner, S.S. Bida, Chief Engineer, SE B&R and Public Health, Medical Officer of Health, all Executive Engineers and other senior officers were present during the meeting

 While interacting with Officers of MC, Mayor expressed the need of time bound work by the corporation and requested all the officers to submit a development report of their respective wings in written as earlier as possible so that the problems would be verified and the work will be started in time. He also asked that officers should also give report about all sanctioned and completed works of their wards. He said that sanitation, Water supply and Malba free City will be his main priority. He asked that possibilities be explored regarding establishing common complaint office so that the citizens can approach Municipal Corporation regarding their day to day problems under one roof. He said that every councilor should work on development of city above party lines. He assured that he will visit all the wards of city to see the progress of developmental projects and problems. He further added that overall development is their priority and remained development works would be completed soon with the co-operation of councilors and officials of the corporation. Public participation to ensure the beautification of city parks is necessary.
