Mohali,19th December:-- Gian Jyoti Global School wore a festive look
and presented a feast for the eyes, by presenting the cultural
burlesque of melody and ballet to mark its 34th Annual Day
Celebrations. The students did extreme justice with the theme of the
day and presented the Marvelous show with the performance on Shant,
Adbhut, Raudra, Karun, Vibhatsya, Bhey, Veer, Hasya and Shingar Ras.
The show was applauded a lot since it very smartly had woven social
environmental and the other problems in its different shades. Through
Shant Ras, the students created very serene atmosphere with the
Shabad, hymn, azan and aarti etc. The charisma of nature and the
advancement in communication system was showcased through Adbhut Ras.
Maa Kali and Shiv Ji Tandav Dance was beautifully presented in Raudra
ras. The pitiable plight of Indian women was presented through Karun
ras. Water pollution was main focus when students presented Vibhatsya
ras. The Freedom Strugglers and the other heroes of India were paid a
rich tribute through Veer Ras. Immense terror was created in the hall
via Bhey ras. Hasya Ras having three various hilarious acts which made
the audience laugh their heads off. Radha Krishan Ras leela was
presented through Shingar Ras. Annual Report of the school was
presented coupled with power point presentation. Prizes were given
away to the students for their academic achievements.
Mr. J.S. Bedi, Chairman, appreciated Principal, Mrs. Ranjeet Bedi for
putting her soul in the school and for taking long strides in
rendering quality education in Mohali and surrounding areas. He
thanked the guests, patrons, parents and the other dignitaries. He
also appreciated the dedicated efforts of the staff members and the
students to make ceaseless efforts to make this day a memorable one.
