CII To Endeavour To Upgrade Quality of Higher Education In Region

Chandigarh 19^th November:---  Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Northern Region and CII's Institute of Quality, Bangalore, are jointly organizing a Regional Summit on Quality in Education on 25^th  November at CII Northern Region Headquarters, Chandigarh.  The summit will provide an opportunity to share concepts, approaches and best practices that can be adapted or adopted by the institutions. More than 15 speakers will address on various aspects of Quality in Education from Higher education institutions, technical education and schools. Eminent speakers from government, institutions, industry and training organizations will also share their experiences, ideas, models which can be adopted/ adapted to different environment.  The summit will focus on various key issues like- Perspectives on Quality Education, inclusiveness, and scalability through technology.

Official spokesperson of the CII said that Dr S S Mantha, Chairman, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Dr Sitanshu S Jena, Chairman, National Institute of Open Schooling, (NIOS), will address the summit , Whereas Vijay K Thadani, Past Chairman CII Northern Region and Chairman Special Task force on Skills & Education will be chairing the special plenary session.
