Haryana Punjabi Sahitya Academy journal's latest issue out

Chandigarh,09 july:-- Additional Principal Secretary to Haryana Chief Minister Dr KK Khandelwal released the latest issue of "Shabad Boond", a journal of the Haryana Punjabi  Sahitya Akademi here today.

Haryana Punjabi Sahitya Akademi Director Sukhchain Singh Bhandari said that with a view to promote Punjabi language, literature and culture in Haryana, every month 'Kavi darbars', 'Kahani darbars', seminars, street theatres and 'sufiana kalaams' are being organized. Also, the Akademi is serving Punjabi language by including the compositions of Punjabi litterateurs belonging to Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh, Delhi and Jammu and Kashmir in its monthly journal "Shabad Boond".
He said that in this issue, photographs of the function where 28 Punjabi litterateurs of Haryana were awarded by the Akademi for the year 2011 and 2012 have been included.

Applauding the journal, Dr Khandelwal said that through the medium of this journal, Punjabi language is being promoted in Haryana and for it Haryana Punjabi Sahitya Akademi deserves appreciation.....
