Haryana Chief Minister congratulated Mount Everest conquerer Twin sisters

Chandigarh,June 13th:-- Haryana Chief Minister Mr Bhupinder Singh Hooda has congratulated the twin sisters of Anwali village in district Sonepat  who have recently conquered the Mount Everest.He wished them a successful future. 

Tashi Malik and Naungshi Malik, the twin sisters, along with their parents Col. (Retd.) Virender Singh Malik and Mrs. Anju Malik had called on  the Chief Minister at his residence  in New Delhi today. Mr. Hooda  said, " We are proud of this great achievement". 

It may be recalled that the twin sisters  have created a new world record by hoisting the Indian flag at Mount Everest on May 19. Tashi and Naungshi stated today that they have conquered the Mount Everest with an aim of creating awareness against gender discrimination and female foeticide. While informing about their next mission, the twins said that they wouldl now start an expedition to conquer the seven highest mountains of seven continents. They said that some other twin sisters from other parts of the world are also trying to set this record.
