Zirakpur, November 13, 2025:-Delhi World Public School, Zirakpur organized an exciting series of inter-school competitions on Robotics and Coding under the banner 'MindSphere – A World of Innovation'. Around 120 students from 10 leading schools across the Tricity participated and competed enthusiastically, displaying impressive innovation and teamwork.
The event was held as part of the Atal Tinkering Lab initiative of the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog, with the aim of empowering young minds with modern technical skills like coding, robotics, and engineering.
Students participated in four major competitions Hackathon, Line Following Robot, Robo Football, and Robo Race showcasing their innovative thinking and technical prowess. A vibrant Gaming Zone featuring more than 10 interactive games designed by the school's ATL team added a fun learning dimension to the event.
The program began with a welcome address by Sandeep Juneja, Director of the school, and concluded with inspiring words by Ashish Jain, Founder of iTinker Learning Foundation. Principal Dr. Manisha Sahni highlighted that "Education is not limited to books. Such events encourage curiosity, teamwork, and dedication, preparing students to lead the future world.
Final results after tough competition was in the Hackathon, Manav Mangal Smart School, Zirakpur secured the first position, followed by Carmel Convent School, Chandigarh, and DWPS, Zirakpur. Manav Mangal Smart School, Zirakpur also won first place in the Line Follower Robot category. Gurukul Global School, Chandigarh triumphed in Robo Football. The Robo Race was won by Bhavan Vidyalaya School, Sector 15, Panchkula. DWPS Zirakpur achieved second place in both the Line Follower Robot and Robo Race categories.
