Mohali, Feb.17, 2025:-Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT) successfully organized a session on Panic Attack Management, featuring Dr. Bhanu Mahendru as the keynote speaker. The session aimed to educate students on identifying, understanding, and managing panic attacks effectively. Koustabh from Mayaa Wellness was also present.
Dr. Mahendru provided valuable insights on panic attack symptoms, triggers, and coping mechanisms, including deep breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, and cognitive reframing. The session also featured interactive activities, allowing students to practice stress-reduction techniques in real time. A Q&A segment enabled students to discuss concerns related to academic stress and mental well-being.
The session witnessed active participation from 37 students, who found it highly beneficial in managing stress and anxiety. Faculty members appreciated the initiative for promoting mental health awareness.
