Chandigarh 20th August:- The Deptt. of Cosmetology and Beauty Care of MCM DAV College for Women, organized a Mehendi Competition to recognize and nurture the budding talent. Students etched some magnificent mehendi designs on the theme 'Traditional Mehendi'. The fragrance of henna and beautifully drawn artistic mehendi designs vowed the onloooker's.
Muskan's alluring mehendi application with the minute detailing of figures and artistic sketching bagged her the first prize in the competition. Shamli of BA-I and Muskaan of BA-II got second and third prize respectively. Forth and Fifth position bagged by Ipsa of M.Com-I and Ishita of BA-III. The mehendimela at MCM was a sight to behold as students and teachers partook in the activity with like enthusiasm.
Applauding the endeavor, Dr. P. Bedi, the Principal of MCM remarked, that MCM will continue to nurture the creative talent as much as the academic acumen of its students. We mean to inculcate in them such virtues that set them apart from the rest.
