Interactors and Rotaractors Brainstorm with Rotarians for “Doing Good Together”

Chandigarh 24th August:- Young Rotaractors and Interactors of nearly four colleges and 11 school participated in a workshop to identify and design service projects to meet the community needs here today at the Rotary House. "Doing Good Together" was the theme of the workshop organised by Rotary Club of Chandigarh for its sponsored 4 Rotaract and 11 Interact Clubs in the city, the young leaders along with the principals and teachers of their schools interacted with senior Rotarians and presented their plans for the year, informed Rotary Club President Rtn. Prof Paramjit Singh.

Participants included Presidents and Secretaries of Rotaract Clubs of Chandigarh, MCM DAV College, DAV College Sector 10, and Government Home Science College, along with the Interact Clubs of Ajit Karam Singh International Public Schoo-41, Bhavan Vidyalaya-27, Govt Model Senior Secondary School-10, Delhi Public School, St.Stephen's Schools of Sector 45 and village Togan, St. John"s High School, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sri Aurobindo School 27, Sri Guru Harkrishan Model Senior Secondary Schools of Sector 38D, and Sector 40.

Past Rotary International President Rajendra K. Saboo and past Rotary International Director Yash Pal Das, Assistant Governor H.S. Saggu, Chairman of Rotary Youth Leadership Award Desh Deepak Khanna, Director Youth Services Vivek Gupta, and past president C.J. Singh, interacted with the young leaders.

Speaking on the occasion Rajendra K. Saboo asked young participants to delve deep into themselves to discover the goodness and keep company of the people you consider as role models to multiply this goodness for larger good.Past Rotary International Director Yash Das said that youth must make giving a habit which returns in manifolds.
