Engineering Students of Aryans College Visits Various Industries

Mohali 24th August:- To give Practical exposure to the students, Aryans College of Engineering, Chandigarh organized visits to 3 different Industries for its Engineering students. The students spent the fruitful hours with the executives of the Industries. The Industries for visit were chosen according to the branches and specializations of the courses of the students.

 While giving more information Prof. A P Jain, Director, Aryans Group of Colleges said that the Civil and Mechanical students were taken to Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala; Electronics & Communication and Computers Science students were taken to Sebiz Square, Mohali; Mechanical students of B.Tech & Diploma were taken to Verka Plant, Mohali. He added that the students were accompanied by their faculty members and officials from the company during the visits.

 

Prof B S Sidhu, Registrar, Aryans Group said that as RCF is the largest and most modern coach manufacturing unit of Indian Railways, so students got a very good exposure by visiting RCF. He added that the students were given in depth insight of lot of machinery, cranes, Fork lifters etc. being used in the Industry to undertake design and manufacture of bogies, shells (both with stainless steel and corten steel).

 

Ms Varinder Kaur, Deputy Director, Aryans Group said that during the visit at Sebiz Square, students learnt the working process of the company. They were shown various areas and Concepts in the Industry like their Training unit, Live projects etc. The students were also provided a Seminar based on "Android Application & Microcontroller" by Mr.Sandeep (Trainer) & Mr. Vijay Rathi.
