ZEE Cinestars Ki Khoj Aspirants Visit Chandigarh

Chandigarh 16th July:- After revolutionizing the worlds of singing and dancing with Sa Re Ga Ma Pa & DID respectively, Zee TV is all set to make a similar impact in the world of acting with its brand new offering - 'Cera presents Cinestars Ki Khoj powered by Glam Up'. The show is a hunt for the most versatile, talented cine starswho has it in them to light up the silver screen with their acting prowess and charisma!  Having concluded a nationwide series of auditions across 18 cities in an attempt to unearth the most promising acting talent from every nook and corner of the country, the show has finally come shortlisted its Top 30 contestants. Making a place for themselves amongst the 30 shortlisted contestants are Abhimanyu Kak of Chandigarhand Meenu Panchal of Haryana.

 Hailing from Chandigarh, Abhimanyu Kak,said that his stardom journey  began as an RJ at the age of 14, and earned the tag of being  youngest RJ ever. Being the lead vocalist of his rock band, Abhimanyu is an all-rounder. He said that apart from acting and singing, he plays guitar, writes and composes his own songs. Having done a lot of theatre during his Graduation and Post Graduation days, Abhimanyu added that these days they are getting training to groom their acting. Dancing and speaking skills. He is very much hopefull to make it to the 'Blockbuster Barah'

 Whereas Haryana girl Meenu Panchal shared that she was also a part of Dance India Dance season 2 and was amongst the Top 8 contestants. Being inspired by Salman Khan, she believes in striving hard and doing all it takes to make it big someday. With the judges thinking of her as a fairly mature actor, she stands a good chance at being selected for the 'Blockbuster Barah'. She said that she did lots of assignments as a assistant choreographer with renowned choreographer.

 With the judges panel consisting of a renowned director like Vijay Krishna Acharya and the gorgeous SonaliBendre, the award-winning filmmaker AnuragBasu, joins the panel starting next week. The channel and production houses Essel Vision Pvt Ltd and TrompeL'oiel  MediaPvt Ltd. are considering other various mentors from the industry who will come in at various points to coach and help the contestants give their best. Parineeti Chopra and AyushmannKhurana, who embody the picture of India's emerging youth and all its aspirations, were called upon to guide and inspire the contestants with their own examples in the audition phase.  

 The show will put its participants through a slew of challenging rounds designed to test their creativity and ability of enacting a variety of different roles. Spanning varied genres such as romance, comedy, drama, dance and action, the contestants will be called upon to prove their versatility, presence of mind, spontaneity and sheer mettle across a number of different acting styles.
