HARBHAJAN MANN TO BE SEEN AS A ‘GADDAR-THE TRAITOR’

Chandigarh 14^th July:- Till the time now Punjabi Film Industry is not only about stories & plots based on comedy, romance or for that matter the mixture of both, also popularly called Romedies.  Unisys Infosolutions & Saga music is trying to buck the trend by bringing in a fresh new genre for Punjabi films: it will soon be releasing 'Gaddar - The Traitor', a suspense thriller which is co produced by Grandson Films. This was divulged in a 'First Look' of the upcoming film held through launch of a state-of-the-art, high tech digital poster of the movie. Harbhajan Mann, a Pioneer in Punjabi Music & Film Industry with his sterling voice and acting skills, was also present at the First Look event, and will be seen in the lead role in the film. Harbhajan Mann returns to Punjabi Films via 'Gaddar- The Traitor' and the talented singer-actor packs a major surprise for his fans– they will see Mann in a completely different look.

Sumeet Singh, MD Unisys Infosolutions, said that they are trying to professionalize Punjabi Cinema. Their company has entered the Punjabi Film Industry on a turn-key basis.They are doing the entire gamut of operations like casting, production, distribution etc in house. Viewers will see good production values and meaningful Punjabi cinema in all their films. The idea behind their endeavour is to Corporatize Punjabi Film Industry.

According to Amitoj Maan, Director, that Gaddar-The Traitor' has projected Harbhajan Mann in a new avatar. He is a business tycoon, who loves to live life on the edge. Whenever he make a film with Harbhajan he try to make sure that both the story as well as the character of Harbhajan is unique, so that the film stands out from the crowd.  

While interacting with media Harbhajan Mann, said that working with Amitoj is always a great learning experience. Gaddar-The Traitor am sure will change people's opinion about Punjabi Cinema. His role is quite different and so is the look that he and his team have worked on diligently for the film. Haani showed him in a unique look and Gaddar has also presented him in a completely new Avatar, which he sure will be appreciated by the audiences.
