Education Department Dispose Off 32 Cases As Per Court Orders

Mohali 04^th July:-- The Education Department, Punjab held a special public meeting to disposes off the pending cases pertaining to decision of Hon'ble Court. The 32 cases were decided and settled as per the verdicts passed by various courts.

This public meeting was held at the premises of Punjab School Education Board, Mohali. In which Rahul Bhandari, Secretary, School Education, Harbans Singh, OSD (Litigation), Dr. Kamal Kumar, DPI (Secondary) and Mrs. Darshan Kaur, DPI (Elementary) listened to the grievances of the aggrieved parities and decided the cases as per court orders. Senior officers and all District Education Officers of Secondary and Elementary Education were also present in the Lok Adalat.

Disclosing this here today, an official spokesperson of the Education Department said that during the hearing of this special Lok Adalat, 69 cases were considered, out of which 32 cases were disposed off on the spot. He said that during the Lok Adalat the grievances of other employees were also listened to and instructions were issued to the respective officers for their speedy redressal.
