Chandigarh, Dec.13,2025:-A special health check-up camp was organized today at the Government Dispensary in Attawa Village by Rotary Club Chandigarh. The camp was organized in collaboration with the National Association for the Blind, and the Senior Deputy Mayor of Chandigarh Municipal Corporation, Jasbir Singh Bunty, was specially present on the occasion.

More than 250 people benefited from this special health camp by getting their medical check-ups done. Along with eye examinations, general health check-ups were conducted by Medicine Specialist Dr. Tushar.

In the morning session, tests for blood pressure, blood sugar, liver, and kidney functions were conducted completely free of cost. In addition, TB tests and other necessary medical examinations were also carried out.

On this occasion, Ms. Abha Sharma, President of Rotary Club Chandigarh, stated that the Rotary Club regularly undertakes such service activities keeping in mind public convenience and health. She also informed that the club has established a Human Milk Bank. The Community Services Director of the club, Ms. Rosie Katyal, shared detailed information about the Human Milk Bank.

Arun Aggarwal, President of Sector 36-C cum Secretary  Rotary Club, stated that senior citizens and children participated enthusiastically in the camp and availed maximum benefit from the health services provided.

Dr. Tushar informed that all patients who visited the camp were provided with the necessary medicines. He added that such health camps play an important role in increasing health awareness and in the early detection of diseases.

Rotarian Vinod Chadha, President of the National Association for the Blind, stated that all patients who underwent eye examinations were provided with medicines and spectacles as per requirement.
