Mohali, Oct.04, 2025:-Gian Jyoti Global School, Phase 2 observed 'Swachhta Pakhwada' (Cleanliness Fortnight) with great enthusiasm, demonstrating its commitment to the vision of a cleaner and greener India. The celebration aimed at spreading awareness about cleanliness, hygiene, and the collective responsibility of maintaining a healthy environment.
The program began with the Swachhta Pledge, where students and staff vowed to keep their surroundings clean and inspire others to do the same. This was followed by a motivational speech highlighting the importance of cleanliness in daily life and its role in building a progressive society. The students also presented a Nukkad Natak (street play) that creatively conveyed the message of sanitation and responsible waste management. Their powerful performances left a strong impact on the audience, inspiring everyone to take part in the cleanliness mission.
The event was graced by the presence of the Principal, Ms. Gian Jyot, who appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers. She encouraged everyone to adopt cleanliness as a lifelong habit and contribute actively towards the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. She also reminded the students about the 'DROP' programme running in the school, praising the efforts to focus on cleanliness as well as reusing items. The celebration concluded with a collective resolve to continue the cleanliness drive beyond the event, making it an integral part of everyday life.
