Chandigarh, August 21, 2025:-With the much-awaited Chandigarh Premier League (CPL) 2025 around the corner, Sanjay Tandon, President, Union Territory Cricket Association (UTCA) conducted a detailed field inspection of the central venue Sector 16 Cricket Stadium on Thursday.
He was accompanied by Prerna Puri, Secretary, Sports, UT; Saurabh Arora, Director, Sports and CB Ojha, Chief Engineer, UT Administration. The officials jointly reviewed the ongoing upgradation work at the historic stadium, which includes improvements to the pitches, outfield, scoreboards, side screens, water drainage system and other key features to ensure top-class facilities for players and spectators.
The Chandigarh Premier League will be inaugurated by Hon'ble Governor of Punjab and UT Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria on August 26 while the tournament officially kicked off on August 28 with six franchise teams vying for the coveted trophy.
