The solemn occasion was marked with floral tributes, heartfelt remembrances, and inspiring reflections on his life and contributions to the nation.

A large number of Congress leaders, workers, and supporters gathered under the leadership of H.S. He praised the late Prime Minister for his transformative leadership that brought about revolutionary changes in the fields of telecommunications, information technology, education, and youth empowerment. He further emphasized Rajiv Gandhi's deep commitment to democratic values, decentralization of power, and people's participation in governance. Lucky further said that Rajiv was a leader who trusted the youth of this country. His initiatives, such as lowering the voting age from 21 to 18 years, demonstrated his firm belief in empowering the younger generation and making them active partners in shaping India's future.

Senior Congress leaders present at the event also spoke about Rajiv Gandhi's farsightedness in promoting Panchayati Raj institutions, which gave real power to grassroots governance, thereby strengthening democracy in India. They recalled his emphasis on education reforms, scientific innovation, and women's empowerment as cornerstones of his policies.

The gathering unanimously acknowledged that Rajiv Gandhi's vision continues to guide the Congress party in its commitment to inclusive growth, social justice, and national unity.
