Panchkula, Oct.15, 2024:- Ashok Malhotra Legend former Indian cricketer and The BCCI Cricket Advisory Committee unveiled the trophy of the second edition of the Suradha Rani Memorial Under-15 Cricket Tournament here today at Hotel Western Court, Sector-10, Panchkula. On this occassion Dr. Sandeep Arora, Convenor, Varinder Chopra,Technical Secretary, Sharanjit Singh, Dr.Vikas Sharma, Vaneet Chawla, Prem Kaushal, Sachin Bajaj, Indrajit Singh , Amarjit Kumar, organized secretary and all participating teams were also present.
Ashok Malhotra Legend & former Indian cricketer addressed the media & said that he really appreciate that the Haryana Sports Welfare Association (Regd.), Which is all members of Association who work continuously at the ground level is working hard to promote cricket and one is engaged in providing the stage for the budding cricketers from the rural & backward areas of the city. He congratulate and give greetings to the organizers because they are promoting cricket of boys and girls at a national level on a large scale for the last 16 years.
According to Dr.Sandeep Arora, Convenor & Amarjit kumar, Organising Secretary of the Tournament, total 8 teans will be participate in the second edition of the Prestigious Suradha Rani Memorial Under-15 Cricket Tournament, which will start from October 16 at VCA Cricket Ground, Derabassi. The total 8 teams will divide into 2 Pools. 2 teams from each pool will qualify for semi-finals. The semi-finals and final match will be played at TDL Cricket Stadium, Panchkula on October 23rd & 24 .The all the Matches will played with Red Ball and White Dress. The organisers will give Every Man of the Match Award. Best Bowler, Best Batsman, Best All rounder, Best Wicket keeper & Best fielder of the tournament.
Tomorrows 16th October Inaugural match will played between Cricket With Nagesh Academy , Peermuchalla Punjab and Team Liberals , Chandigarh at 7.a.m & Second match will played between CL Champs Cricket Academy, Panchkula and Sunrise Cricket Academy, Zirakpur , Punjab .
The following Two Pools of Eight teams.
Pool-A = Ashok Malhotra Cricket Academy, Kolkata, CWN Cricket Academy, Permuchalla, Lakshmi School of Cricket Academy, Kalka and Team Libers, Chandigarh
Pool-B = Ashok Malhotra Cricket Academy-A Team, Kolkata, C.L. Champes Cricket Academy, Panchkula, Sunrise Cricket Academy, Zirakpur and St. Josephs Cricket Academy, Chandigarh.
