Franklin Templeton Launches Franklin India Multi Cap Fund

Chandigarh, July 4, 2024:-Franklin Templeton (India) today announced the launch of its open-ended multi cap diversified equity fund called Franklin India Multi Cap Fund (FIMCF). This fund will aim to generate long-term capital appreciation by investing in a portfolio of equity and equity related securities of large cap, midcap and small cap companies. FIMCF will maintain a minimum exposure of 25% of its total assets in each market cap category namely, Large cap, Mid cap and Small cap, in line with the regulatory requirements. The remaining 25% will be blended in the most optimal way based on an internal framework. Chandigarh, July 04, 2024:- सेक्टर 23 स्थित श्री महावीर मंदिर मुनि सभा (साधू आश्रम)में ब्रह्मलीन श्री सतगुरु देव श्री श्री 108 श्री मुनि गौरवानंद गिरि जी महाराज की 37वीं पुण्य बरसी समारोह के उपलक्ष्य में सैकड़ों साधु संत और महात्माओं का आगमन हुआ।  जिनका मुनि सभा के सदस्यगणों ने स्वागत किया और साधु संतो और महात्माओं की सेवा में भी योगदान दिया। इससे पूर्व प्रातः मंदिर परिसर विधि- विधान के साथ भव्य हवन किया गया। पूर्णाहुति के उपरांत समारोह के समापन पर महाआरती की गई।

IFFCO's Nano Fertilizer Promotion Campaign Launched

Chandigarh, July 3, 2024:- To promote the use of nano fertilizers, the Nano Fertilizer Usage Promotion Mahaabhiyan has been launched by IFFCO. Under this, 200 model nano village clusters have been selected by IFFCO. Through this, farmers of 800 villages are being given a subsidy of 25 percent on the price (MRP)  of Nano Urea Plus, Nano DAP and Sagarika by IFFCO so that farmers can use nano fertilizers more and more in their fields. Along with this, IFFCO will give a grant of Rs 100 per acre to the drone entrepreneur so that farmers can get the facility of spraying at low rates. Farmers will be made aware of the increase in the quality and production of the crop in these model nano villages.

Hon'ble Prime Minister has also launched 100 days action plan to increase the use of nano fertilizers in agriculture, under which 1270 demonstrations of Nano DAP (liquid) will be conducted in 413 districts and 200 trials of Nano Urea Plus (liquid) in 100 districts. In these trials,  the help of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, State Agricultural University and other research institutions will be taken and monitored by the Government of India.

Nano fertilizers will be made available by IFFCO to the cooperative society and other sales outlets.  Farmers will be told about the benefits of nano fertilizers. IFFCO is providing 2500 agricultural drones for farmers for spraying nano fertilizers, for which 300 'Namo Drone Didi' and drone entrepreneurs have been prepared. Apart from this, other types of sprayers have also been made available through which farmers will be able to easily spray nano fertilizers in their fields. Contracts have been made with 15 institutions to spray 245 lakh acres of area by drones which will spray in the fields of farmers. An incentive of Rs 100 per acre will also be provided on each spray.

From August 2021 to June 26, 2024, a total of 7.55 crore Nano Urea and 0.69 crore Nano DAP bottles produced by IFFCO have been used by farmers. In order to provide maximum benefit to the farmers, IFFCO has set a target of producing 4 crore Nano Urea Plus and 2 crore Nano DAP bottles in the year 2024-25. In this sequence, from April 2024, IFFCO has made available Nano Urea Plus (liquid) 20% w/v N  of high concentration to the farmers, which will help in increasing quality crop productivity and environmental protection.

Under this campaign, IFFCO has also planned publicity, field testing, training of secretaries of cooperative societies etc. in all the districts of the country. The Ministry of Fertilizers will also collaborate to implement this scheme so that the use of nano fertilizers in place of chemical fertilizers in the fields can be encouraged. Under this mega campaign, it has been planned to provide 6 crore bottles of nano fertilizers which will be distributed through 36000 member cooperative societies of IFFCO and other cooperative societies. 

It will also be ensured that availability of nano fertilizers is made at each Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samridhi Kendras (PMKSK).  IFFCO is providing nano fertilizers to farmers by entering into marketing agreements with Indian Potash Limited (IPL), Fertilizers and Chemicals Travancore (FACT), Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited (BVFCL), Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited (RCF), National Fertilizers Limited (NFL) etc.

In August 2021, IFFCO has commercially produced the world's first indigenous nano urea based on nanotechnology, giving the whole world a great alternative to conventional urea. In March 2023, IFFCO has also made nano DAP (liquid) available to farmers to reduce the use of DAP fertilizer. In view of the serious problem of environmental imbalance worldwide, there is a need to reduce the use of conventional chemical fertilizers in farming by nano fertilizers. As a result, the country can be strengthened economically and globally by realizing the concept of 'self-reliant agriculture' and 'self-reliant India' with environmental protection.

Talking about the harm caused by indiscriminate use of urea, the use efficiency of urea is less than 30 percent, more than 70 percent of the quantity in the form of gas (NOx)  harms the environment,  water pollution in the form of nitrate (NO3)  and soil health in the form of ammonia (NH4+, NO3).  Conventional urea has a role to play in the high incidence of pests and diseases, crop fall and crop inability to tolerate adversity. The benefits of nanofertilizers are several such as improvement in soil health, reduction in water and air pollution, increase in crop production and quality, reduction in use of conventional fertilizers, reduction in incidence of pests and diseases; Ease of transportation and storage and environmental friendliness are the main ones.

 बच्चों को संबोधित करते हुए डिप्टी मेयर राजेंद्र शर्मा ने कहा कि हमें अधिक से अधिक पौधे लगाकर वातावरण में आई गर्मी को मात देनी होगी  एरिया काउंसलर जसबीर सिंह बंटी ने कहा की अब की बार हरित क्रांति की आवश्यकता है। 

स्कूल के प्रधानाचार्य श्रीमती कैलाश शर्मा ने कहा कि हमारी प्रकृति और पर्यावरण बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है और हमें इसकी संभाल करनी चाहिए ,अधिक से अधिक पेड़ लगाने चाहिए और इनकी अच्छी देखभाल करनी चाहिए, ताकि यह समय पर फल देते रहें।

Strict Action Should Be Taken Against Those Spreading Superstitions Using the Holy Bible on Social Media: Sukhjinder Gill

Chandigarh, July 02, 2024:- Over the past few years, some individuals in Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh have been misusing the name of the Church to spread false propaganda under the guise of Christian missionary work. These individuals have no actual connection to Christianity, according to Sukhjinder Gill, a member of the Catholic Church in Sector 19, Chandigarh. Speaking at a press conference at the Chandigarh Press Club, Gill, who is also the president of Janhit Social Service and Blood Service organizations, said these people are exploiting the gullibility of individuals by selling bottles of water and oil, claiming they can cure illnesses and predict the future, thereby promoting superstition. He stated that because of these individuals, Christianity's reputation is being tarnished, and true Christians feel ashamed and hesitate to reveal their faith. He added that attempts by Christian religious leaders and officials to explain to these people and even filing complaints with district officers have been futile.

Gill revealed that these individuals spread their deceptive practices through social media, mentally and religiously exploiting innocent people. They post videos on YouTube, Facebook, etc., claiming to exorcise ghosts and cure diseases, using the Holy Bible to spread superstitions. He told that a memorandum is submitted to the Governor and Chief Minister of Punjab, demanding appropriate action against these individuals and the banning of their social media accounts.

Present at the occasion, Baba Gurpreet Singh Ji Udasin of Udaseen Taksal International (California) stated that members of the Dalit community are availing benefits from the government's reserved quota and simultaneously converting to Christianity. He argued that if they want to convert, they should first return the benefits taken from the Dalit quota. He also urged the government to prevent such illegal religious conversions. 

Senior advocate Gurmohan Preet Singh of the Punjab-Haryana High Court, who has been contacted by organizations representing Hindu, Sikh, and Christian communities for legal assistance, emphasized that these are very serious issues and such malpractices should be opposed in the name of religion. Due to certain non-social elements, Punjab's religious brotherhood and atmosphere of peace should not be completely ruined. He said that hypocrisy exists in every religion and legal action should be taken against all of them. It's not about any one religion; it's about humanity.

     ड्डूमाजरा कॉलोनी में आर डब्ल्यू ए के हुए चुनाव सम्पन्न हुए। जिसमे कुल 11 कैंडिडेटो ने भाग लिया। इसमें कुल 2671 मतदाता रहे, जिन्होंने ने उम्मीदवारों के भाग्य का फैसला किया। चुनाव प्रक्रिया में  बाजीगर समुदाय के सुरेंद्र पाल विजयी रहे। उन्होंने अपने निकटतम प्रतिद्वंद्वी को 492 वोटो  से मात देते हुए प्रधान पद हासिल किया। नवनिर्वाचित प्रधान सुरेंद्र पाल बाज़ीगर ने विजयी होकर प्रधान चुने जाने पर ड्डू माजरा कॉलोनीवासियों का धन्यवाद किया और अपनी जिम्मेदारी का कर्तव्यनिष्ठा से निर्वाहन करने का आश्वासन दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि आर डब्ल्यू ए की कार्यकारिणी का जल्द ही गठन किया जाएगा और एरिया की सभी समस्याओं विशेषकर डंपिंग ग्राउंड के मामले के निवारण को लेकर जल्द ही चंडीगढ़ प्रशासक सहित प्रशासन के आलाधिकारियों से मुलाकात करेंगे, उनका प्रयास रहेगा कि क्षेत्र वासियों को जल्द से जल्द इस समस्या से निजात दिला सकूं।    वहीं हरजिंदर सिंह प्रिंस, ब्लॉक प्रेसिडेंट, बलबीर मस्त और रमेश कुमार ने अपने 26 नंबर वार्ड की तरफ से सिरोपा डालकर और लड्डुओं से नवनिर्वाचित प्रधान सुरेंद्र पाल बाज़ीगर का मुंह मीठा कराते हुए उन्हें मुबारकबाद दी और क्षेत्र की समस्याओं को प्राथमिकता के साथ हल करवाने का आहवान किया।
