H S Lucky Appointed New President of CTCC

Chandigarh June 12, 2022:- Congress President Sonia Gandhi has appointed 

Harmohinder Singh Lucky  the new President of Chandigarh Territorial Congress Committee with immediate effect.  48 years old  Lucky is a lawyer by profession and has remained Deputy Mayor of Chandigarh. He started his political career as a student leader from DAV College Chandigarh and  remained NSUI,Youth Congress and District Congress President of Chandigarh at respective times. He also remained Senate and Syndicate member of Panjab University twice. Lucky has been associated with various social, religious and sports organisation. Lucky was holding the position of General Secretary and Chief Spokesperson of Chandigarh Territorial Congress Committee before becoming the President of Chandigarh Territorial Congress Committee. Lucky is considered a close confidant of Pawan Kumar Bansal former Union Minister and presently Treasurer of All India Congress Committee. 

H S Lucky said that his priorities will be to strengthen the party in chandigarh and take up various issues of public concern in chandigarh. The Congress organisation in chandigarh will be made robust and geared up for the parliamentary polls of 2024. All congressmen who have somehow remained neglected  will be brought back to the party fold added Lucky.
