NCC Camp Concludes at Gulzar Group of Institutes, 200 NCC Cadets Joined the Camp From Various Institutes

Ludhiana, Nov. 20, 2021:- Gulzar group of Institutes, Khanna, Ludhiana organized the Annual NCC Camp at it's Camps under the guideline of 19 PB BN  for  NCC B & C Certificate. More than 200 NCC cadets, both boys and girls, joined the NCC Annual Training camp from PAU Ludhiana, JNB Farour, ITI samrala, Gulzar group and from many schools. GGI is happy to host the cadets and facilitate the training under the mentorship of  Col.DK Singh CO and Col. KS Kondal Duputy CO,19 PB BN. The aim of this camp was to develop character, comradeship, discipline, leadership, and secular outlook, spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service among the youth of the country.

The participants were also given knowledge about Drug Addiction and Organ Donation. During the camp, various activities like weapon training, map and compass reading, drill classes, basics of firing drill and classes on 0.22mm rifle, 5.56 mm rifle and light machine gun were arranged. Competitions like Drill Competition, Firing Competition, Cultural Competition, Word of Command and Piloting Competitions were also organized.

College Executive Director Gurkirat Singh informed the students that it was a good opportunity to get certificates A, B C Certificates for drill, firing and map reading training. The cadets were told that moral duties, especially discipline, are very important. He later informed that active participation helped the students in physical fitness and develop team building and leadership skills .According to him NCC cadets are also preferred in Army recruitment.
