Chandigarh August 20, 2021:- On the eve of Raksha Bandhan, a female knee patient tied a 'rakhi' to her surgeon at Amcare Hospital here on Saturday as a token of thanks for giving her a new lease of life after her knee replacement surgery.
Ramta Arora (62) who hails from Zirakpur said that it was a freedom from long pain and end of her motionless life as her both knees were replaced with a new stitch-less & painless knee replacement technique by Dr Gagan Deep Gupta, an orthopaedics & Joint replacement surgeon at Amcare.
Ramta said that she has not only got rid of painful knees but also found a caring brother who not only helped her a lot in going through the surgery but made her stay in hospital like home one.
Dr Arun Nibber, CMD, Amcare Hospital stated that the hospital is taking all essential COVID precautions as guided by ICMR like stringent screening of all patients in OPD and pre surgery screening is also done for the patient. Fogging and sanitization of operations theatres and other critical areas, rooms, wards, lobby etc are also one on a regular basis.
